Isolated and forgotten, the Urak Lawoa people live on islands in the Andaman Sea, southern Thailand. Although they lost many possessions in the 2004 tsunami they escaped the attention of government and outsiders. But waves that brought so much devastation also brought change: "What has happened since is amazing - God has been at work building His church," says a Bible Society source.
Pray that Scriptures provided by the Bible Society will help new believers continue their journey of faith.
